Sidney Shepherd

Sidney Shepherd was born June 17, 1959. He passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at UnityPoint Hospice Taylor House at the age of 54.

He is survived by his children, Angel Pinegar and Corey (Kim) Debrouse; grandchildren, Dillen, Chasity, Drew, Paige, Annabel, Tyler, Logan, Kayden and Kaleb; brother, Michael (Ann) O’Brien; nephews, Jack O’Brien and Samuel O’Brien; sister, Darlene Shepherd White; niece, Lily Shepherd; and mother, Candice Shepherd White. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Shepherd; wife, Tammy Shepherd; and daughter, Monica Stout.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, also at the funeral home.
