Cecil will be remembered for his servants heart. He was filled with the fruits of the spirit. He will be greatly missed. Thank you Cecil for giving us a joyful smile each time we visited Grace. Hugs to his family as you will miss him greatly but we pray you find joy in knowing he is walking with Jesus today. We look forward to a reunion at the Eastern Gate!

When I heard of Cecil's passing I just began to cry. It brought back the memory of my dad, Dave, passing almost four years ago. I remember how broken up Cecil was when my dad passed and I just thought of my dad waiting at heaven's gates for him and them being reunited as buddies! I am so sorry for your loss, but I take comfort, as I know you do, that he is in heaven!

Ellen, I was so sorry to read of Cecil's passing this morning, as I read the paper and saw his obituary. He now is with his Savior and is catching up with Bob in Heaven. We have enjoyed your friendship at the small group bible studies and fellowship potlucks. My condolences to you and Cecil's children and extended family. I am unable to be at the funeral, but my prayers are with you all.

Cecil (Russell) Cooper will always be remembered with great fondness. He lived with my family in the 50s, and we worked the farm together, and had a lot of fun together as kids. We lost touch over the years, but reconnected a few years ago. We talked for just a couple minutes together on the phone last week when he was in the hospital. I was planning on visiting him this next summer when we make a trip out to the mid-west. I am sad we did not get to make that connection. May God bless and comfort Ellen, his kids, and grand kids and the rest of the Cooper family.

Your hugs, your peanut breathe from eating nuts in your chair, you telling me not to push your belly b/c something might come out. Your chattering teeth, the smell of your after shave, your laughter, the way you brought the family together. The love of God that is shown through your enormous heart, burnt barbque, onions in mac & cheese ... Everything will be missed every day you are gone and not one thing forgotten. I love you grandpa so much, tell grandma i miss her greatly as well.

I was so lucky to grow up across from you. You and Phyllis always made me feel like part of the family. I never knew my dad and he passed before I had a chance, but I want you to know what a good example you were for me. I always thought Debbie was so lucky to have such a great dad. Thanks for letting me spend the night so much, hang out at your house and eat all your food! I don't think I ever heard you complain. Even when we had snow boots and snow all over your kitchen you never said a word. You always smiled and laughed. Tell Phyllis hi and tell her I still make candy every year since she taught me! I will never forget you both! Thanks again for everything. Your family will always hold a special place in my heart! Love you always!
