Frank Anthony Valadez, of Des Moines, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the VA Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. Frank was born on June 25, 1946, in Des Moines, to Mary Louise (Alatorre) and Daniel Valadez.

Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in the 5/7 Calvary. Even after the war, Frank kept in touch with his brothers in arms. He always helped people out when they needed it. He will be remembered as a “stand-up guy.” Most importantly he loved the time he had with his grandchildren.
