Fredrick John White

Fred, 79, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013. He was born August 24, 1934 to Fredrick H. Sr. and Lydia B. (Barnett) White. Funeral Services will be held, 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines.

He is survived by his daughters, Dalonda, Shawnell, Marie, Maxine, sons, Freddie, Carl, Donald (Donnisha), Barry and Antonio; grandchildren, Janiya, Angel-Marie, Tyian, Antonio II, T’Isis, Amare, Jordan, Amani, Addison, Eva and Aalaya; as well as a host of nieces and nephews; sisters, Roselle Maddox and Wendy Williams; brothers, Donald and Barry White.

Fred was preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn White; grandson, James William Gunn, Jr.; sister, Dorrene Johnson; niece, Venita Lampkin; and his parents, Fredrick H. Sr. and Lydia B. (Barnett) White.
