David H. Wiegman

David Henry Wiegman, 76, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. David was born December 4, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Myron and Glen Wiegman. David enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He had been a salesman for Orkin Pest Control and retired from Terminix.

David is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Scott) Nelson; son, Scott Wiegman (Linda Race); grandchildren, Kristine (Josh) McCann and Brandon Nelson (Ashley Sweet); and one great grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia, in 2008; and one sister.

There will be a Celebration of Life held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of David.
