Michelle Renee Boothroyd

Michelle Renee Boothroyd, 54, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Broadlawns Medical Center.

Michelle was born September 27, 1959, in Des Moines, to Don and Beverly Schott. She was a people person who could get along with anybody. She leaves behind many family members who care about her deeply. Michelle would help anybody out that she could. She’d give you the shirt off her back. She enjoyed gardening and her grandkids were a very special part of her life.

Michelle is survived by her children, Andrew Schott (Shelby Newhouse) and Vincent Boothroyd (Marsha); grandchildren, Jasmine, Brandon, Cadence and Michail; and brothers, Darrel Cleghorn and Bobby VanZee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Christina.

There will be no services held at this time.

It is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to the organization of the donor’s choice in loving memory of Michelle.
