Morris Blunck

Morris Blunck, of Des Moines, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines, surrounded by his loving family. Morris was born on January 5, 1932 in Des Moines to Lena (Scott) and Cecil Blunck.

Morris retired after many years of dedicated service from Armstrong Pirelli Tire. Morris enjoyed going to Prarie Meadows and taking in the horse races. He especially loved spending time with his great-grandchildren and picking them up from school.

Those left behind to celebrate Morris’ life are his loving wife, Connie; his sons, Douglas, Dan and Mark Blunck; grandson, Joe (Andrea) Blunck; two great-grandchildren, Makayla and Drew Blunck; brother, Darrel (Pat) Blunck; and other loving family and friends.

Per his wishes, Morris has been cremated and the family will hold a private celebration to honor his life.
