Bobby Lee O'Conner

Bobby Lee O’Conner, 64, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at UnityPoint Hospice Taylor House.

Bobby was born June 21, 1949, in Des Moines. He graduated from Lincoln in 1967. Bobby was employed by NPI Security and Stone Container. He was a simple man that loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandson, Sammy. Bobby had a great appreciation for music and his dog, Sadie.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Coleen; son, Tad (Andrea) O’Conner; daughter, Christy O’Conner Harmeyer; grandson, Sammy Harmeyer; siblings, Danny (Linda) O’Conner, Vicky (Gary) Fuller, Billy O’Conner, Jeff O’Conner, and Pat (Judy) O’Conner; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma O’Conner.

A Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
