Dear Larry and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of JoAnn's passing. Mom, (Ruth) and I just found out today. Mom is in Oregon visiting cousins since early October. Mom said JoAnn has been on her mind for a couple of weeks now and she wanted to stop and see her when she got back.
I found out via Facebook from Terri our co-worker at Iowa Lutheran. JoAnn was a fun loving lady who was very special. I loved going out to Cutty's and having dinner and I loved working with JoAnn.
I live in North Carolina now. Mom is back in Ankeny after living in Washington state after she married Bill Evans.
You all are in our prayers. JoAnn will be missed. All our love, Jane Gilchrist and Ruth Schneider Evans.

Sure enjoyed the time with you here on Earth. You will now be in a better place with Bob meeting you at the gate. Have a great family reunion with plenty of bowling and fishing.
