I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. We played french horn together in band. Every time a high school class reunion rolled around, I always wondered where John was. A great guy and always the entertainer... Rest in Peace.

John and I were in drama class and plays together. He got me a job working in the Midway restaurant. For years we laughed, worked and had so much fun there.I watched him charm the boss out of a bad mood and into a good one. Such a gift to bring joy to others. May God comfort you at this time.

I have know John since he first came to DesMoines. John, Mark and I have had many fun times together. Too many to mention here. Just know that I will always treasure the friendship I had with John. His kindness, humor and mischieveness are what I will always remember and cherish.

Prayers for John's family and friends. I was in band with John at Appleton West. He was so much fun. I have lots of great memories. My guess is that his smile and humor have stayed with him his whole life. So sorry for this huge loss.

I've worked at the courthouse for 30 years, so I have had the pleasure to spend many "interesting" days in the courtroom with John. He was always such a pleasure to work with. I am lucky to have known him and he will be a part of our many courthouse stories.
