William L. Bair

William L. “Larry” Bair, 65, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at his home. Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2006 with a Celebration of Life service at 4:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
Larry was born October 31, 1941 to Leland and Dorothy Bair in Denver, Colorado. He worked 42 years for The American Red Cross, mostly in the Central Iowa Chapter. He represented the Red Cross on various committees at a local, regional, and national level. He was an avid golfer and gardener. He enjoyed sailing and snow skiing, and his family has many fond memories of sharing these activities with him.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Nancy Falk. He is survived by his wife Annette; his daughter Kristen; his son John and daughter-in-law Farah; father-in-law Frank Farao; his aunt Katie and uncle Louie Juliano; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Red Cross Central Iowa Chapter.
