Johnnie Attebery

Johnnie Willis Attebery was born January 29, 1935 in Kirksville, MO to Everett and Inia Attebery. He passed away under the care of UnityPoint Hospice at his step-son’s home on Thursday, October 10, 2013. He was 78 years old.

Johnnie is survived by his daughter, Mary (Dan) West of Macon, MO; step-son, Jack (Cathy) Robinson; step-daughters, Melody (Harry) Walker, Evenie Robinson and Angela Robinson; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Ronnie (Nancy) Attebery of Ewing, MO, William Attebery of Columbia, MO, Mary Hovar of Unionville, MO, Sarah (Phil) Sanders of Elmer, MO, Martha (George) Buck of Mason City, IL, Paul Attebery of Lincoln, IL, Daryle (Doris) Attebery of Easton, IL, Ben Attebery of Dallas, TX and Tom Attebery of Kirksville, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ethel in June of 2013, three brothers, one sister in infancy, and his daughter, Mary Marie.
