Shirley L. (Ruby) Brown

Shirley (Ruby) Brown, 51, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Taylor House Hospice.

Shirley was born November 23, 1961 in Des Moines to Leslie and Patricia Ruby.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, and going to Prairie Meadows.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Rick, daughter, Shonna (Joel) Rouse, grandsons, Connor and Jaxson, as well as other beloved family members. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Leslie and Herbert.

A grave side service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive visitors for an hour prior to the service at the graveside.
