Patricia Brown, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was born February 8, 1923 to Harry and Dorathe Carper in Des Moines.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Brown and Terry (Laura) Brown; daughters, Judy (Kenny) Kenoyer, Dixie Renda, Kris (Jeff) Kessler and Cathy (Dave) Fuson; as well as 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Brenda Brown; and lifelong friend, Beverly Carper.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Brown; infant son, Michael; and son, Jerry; brothers, Michael (Mic), and Jerry Carper.
Funeral Services will be held, 11 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street followed by burial at Norwalk Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Patricia.

I am so sorry about the loss. of Pat.
I am a good friend of Bev Carpers, and I met Pat many many times, when we all went to lunch, etc .I always enjoyed Pat's wonderful personality.
I am sure that Pat is being welcomed into heaven where she will be the great asset that she was to people on earth.
