Shari Gravitt

Shari Ann Gravitt, 50, was born December 5, 1962 in Des Moines, the daughter of John and Betty (Sandvick) Huss. She passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

Shari was full of life and always had a smile on her face. She always saw the best in everyone and was willing to help no matter what. Shari loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, who was the light of her life.

Shari is survived by her loving husband, Mark Gravitt; daughters, Nichole and Kali Gravitt; grandson, Eric Gravitt; siblings, Johnny Huss, Dennis (Judy) Huss, Pam Cook and Kevin (Wendy) Huss; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her nephew, Eric Ford and her sister-in-law, Catrina Huss.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW with cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Shari.
