Marilyn Wilson, 86, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013.
Marilyn was born March 22, 1927 in Belle Plaine, Iowa to Ralph Waldo and Leona Mattie Mall. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting, and baking. Marilyn retired from General Casualty Insurance in August 1990 as a personal lines processor. She attended Berean Assembly of God where she volunteered her time.
Marilyn is survived by her children, James L. Wilson, Robert A. Wilson, Cheryl A. (Dennis W.) Howard, Susan K. (Donald T.) Doty, and William W. Wilson; ten grandchildren; and many more loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Wilson.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Berean Assembly of God, 5299 E University Ave, in loving memory of Marilyn.

Cheryl & family, My deepest sympathy to all of you. I had the pleasure of knowing Marilyn at General Casualty. She was a lovely lady & a lot of fun. Now she is at peace in Heaven. I'm sure she will enjoy spending time with my mother-in-law Betty Fry.
