Walter "Lee" Cooper

Walter “Lee” Cooper, 40, died July 25, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born May 12, 1967, in Des Moines, IA., and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. Lee loved riding motorcycles and wrenching on anything mechanical and was a “jack of all trades.”
He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Slotty) Cooper; mother, Margaret Guinn; sister April Tilley; brother Mike (Kathie) Cooper; 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 1 great-niece, 1 grandfather, and 1 uncle.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines. Burial will take place at Berwick Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
