Ruth Estey, 94, passed away at home in Des Moines on Saturday, September 21, 2013.
Ruth was born May 18, 1919. She was a lifetime member of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Des Moines.
Ruth is survived by her children, Janet (Jim) Loomis, Edward (Marcia) Estey, Roger (Anita) Estey and Joan (Larry) Moon; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur, one sister and five brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Ruth at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2317 Watrous Avenue in Des Moines.
