Bob Jacobs

Bob Jacobs, 41, died July 25, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born October 24, 1965, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Bob was a veteran of the US Army. He loved spending time with his family, friends and enjoyed coaching his “girls” in softball, and was a past board member of East Des Moines Girls Softball. He was employed by McAninch, as an Equipment Operator.
He is survived by his wife Laura, daughters, Taylor and Emilea, sister, Valerie (Travis) Johnson, brothers, Roy (Gloria) Jacobs and Ray (Connie) Jacobs, his father, Robert Jacobs (Sandi Long), his mother, Barbara (Donnie) Schultz, mother-in-law, Betty Halsted, grandparents, Gerald and Esther Jacobs, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation with family present will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday July 27, 2007, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Altoona Christian Church with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made for an education fund for Bob’ s girls in his loving memory.
