Bryce John Holland, 21, was born March 13, 1992 in Des Moines, the son of Mike and Sandi Holland. He passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013.
Bryce was extremely involved in sports throughout his entire life. He loved watching all games especially Michigan Football. Bryce enjoyed working at Potters, and spending time at the family cabin in Minnesota at the lake. He loved his dog Buddy, but above all else he treasured the special time spent with his family, especially his nieces.
Bryce is survived by his parents, Mike and Sandi Holland; brothers, Cutler Holland and Trevor (Macy) Holland; sister, Breanna Holland; nieces, Adalynne and Berkley Holland; grandparents, Gerald and Rosemary Holland and Joel and Myrna Heifner; cousin, Spiros Zougras; aunts and uncles, Greg (Tracy) Holland, Mary (Jerry) Nybakken and Anne (Jeff) Townsend; cousins, DeLaney, Walker, Jacob, Andrew, Audrey, Blane and Sydney; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Shari and Pete Zougras.
The family will greet friends from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at SS. John and Paul Catholic Church, 1401 1st Ave. S in Altoona. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at the church with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Words are difficult to type at such times, but I was very saddened to hear of Bryce's passing. He was a great guy with a good heart. It was an honor to know him and see him grow up. Thoughts and prayers to all the Holland family.

We were shocked and greatly saddened when we heard the news of Bryce. I still remember how cute he was learning to walk and trying to keep up with the older kids.
