Veronica C. Toussaint

Veronica was born in Des Moines on August 8, 1943, to James and Vera Toussaint. Seventy years later on September 17, 2013, Veronica went to be with her heavenly Father. She was a 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School and a long time member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Veronica worked for the telephone, the Central States Theatre and Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Company.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt appreciation to Cindy Miller, Eileen Miller and Gary Hubbard for their life long devotion and companionship to Veronica, especially during the very physically difficult last years of her life. We are also grateful to Christ the King Catholic Church for the years of bringing church and the sacraments to Veronica’s bedside.

Veronica is survived by cousins, Jerrold (Orlene) Narland and Dennis (Kathleen) Narland and their collective offspring.

Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 4400 Merle Hay Rd. at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or Saint Jude Hospice.
