Con Robinson

Connie D. Robinson, 82, passed away at his home on Friday, September 13, 2013. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Berean Assembly of God in Pleasant Hill with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday also at the church.

Con was born August 25, 1931 to Inez and Con Robinson. He was a carpenter for over 50 years. Con could talk to anyone, and loved going to the store to visit with people. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. He was the best cook and loved to raise dogs. Later in life, he became a God-fearing man, and he had a very special relationship with each of his grandchildren.

Con is survived by his wife, Barbara Robinson; children: Kathy (Joe) Farnum, Rick Robinson, Deb (Ronnie) Machir, and Con (DeeDee) Robinson; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and his siblings: Larry Robinson, Jackie Collins, Lucy Brody, and Nick Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Con and Inez; his sisters: Helen Waddle, Ann Kimmel, and Kaye Robinson; and his brother, Don Robinson.
