Mary F. Wood, 80, passed away at Prime Nursing and Rehab Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

Mary is survived by her children, Donna Kaiser; Donald (Suzie) Wood, Jr., Danny (Debbie) Wood, Tamara Robbins, Debra (Charles, Jr.) Russo, Terry (Dennis) Ratliff, Charlie Wood, and Diana (Brent) Evenson; grandchildren, Freddie, Samantha, Amanda, Chaz, Chelsie, Victoria, Lacrisha, Donald III, John Robert, Joey, Jeramy, Seth, Justin, Jessica, Kenneth, Elijah, Kenneth, Christopher, Charles III, Chandler, Mary, Colleen, Rick, Nicholas, Lori, Tyler, Rebecca, Jamie; 47 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl and John Taylor; sister, Patty Witehurst; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sr.; son, Michael Glenn Wood; grandson, Nate; brother, Paul; and sisters, Dorothy, Katie, Virginia, and Carol.
