Danica Stanisic

Danica Stanisic, 82, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born on April 24, 1931 to Acim and Djurdja Koroman in Bosnia. She moved to Iowa in 1998 and loved it here very much.

Danica is survived by her husband of 52 years, Vitko Stanisic; children, Radenko Stanisic and Radmila (Milos) Forcan; and grandchildren, Vedrana, Dragana, Stefanie, and Lazar.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Demetrius, 4655 NE 3rd Street, Des Moines with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
