Grace "Bonnie" LaVonne Staehli

Grace LaVonne Staehli, 86, passed away August 24, 2013. Services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. prior to the service. Burial of her cremated remains will be at Glendale Cemetery at a later date.

Grace was born on April 13, 1927 in Exira, IA to Lillian (Kohn) and Chancy Waychoff. She married Robert R. Staehli and the couple raised their daughter in Des Moines. Grace worked as a manager at Camelot Dry Cleaners and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and St. John’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon and son-in-law Gary Warren; grandchildren, Rodney (Cyndi), Jeffrey (Dorrie), Bradley (Joan), Travis (Kerri), and Douglas (Kim) Warren; great-grandchildren, Heather, Lindsay, Zachary, Brittany, Taylor, Hope, Abigail, Hunter, and Garrett; and great-great-grandchildren, Macie, Lucas, and Aiden. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings; and baby angel great-grandchild, Mason.
