Service Details
Lena M. Schooley passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 with her loving family at her side. Lena was born June 18, 1919 in Polo, Illinois to Mary and Emsley Matthew.
With Lena, her family always came first. She worked for many years at Banker’s Rubber Stamp as a secretary and receptionist. She loved flowers and was a true animal lover. She will be remembered for her Christmas sugar cookies and she will be missed.
Lena is survived by her children, Bob (Sue) Schooley, Jack Schooley, Rita (Ted) Jarnagin, Susie Schooley, Sharon (Jim) Belloma and Randy Schooley; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Neoma and Maxine; brother, Billy numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marion “Dale” Schooley; her children, Jimmy, Denny, Nancy, Pat, Mary and Terry; granddaughter, Randi; one sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will follow the service at Glendale cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15 at the funeral home.

You were one of the best grandmas in the world. I will always remember coming up their and making fun of the fact I would always hide your flashlight. Life will be different not making my weekly stop up there and giving you a hug goodbye. I love and miss you so much grandma. R.I.P.

I will really miss Lena coming to visit me at the salon. She was always such a treat for me. Always had us smiling. I had been doing her hair for over 25 years. You are in my prayers!!
