Douglas G. LeMar

Douglas G. LeMar, 54, passed away August 6, 2013, at his home in Des Moines, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Des Moines on July 13, 1959, to Alice and James LeMar, Sr.

Douglas enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with family, friends, and dog, Lucy.

Douglas is survived by his father, James LeMar, Sr.; brother, Jim (Glenda) LeMar, Jr.; sisters, Gloria Estes and Marsha Clark; his children, Cassie and Gary LeMar, and his dog, Lucy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
