Mark Eugene Richardson

Mark Eugene Richardson, 54 of Norwalk, Iowa died peacefully in his home on Friday, August 2nd, 2013.

He was born to Wayne and Shirley Richardson in Des Moines on January 21st, 1959. Mark graduated from Norwalk High School in 1977 and married Kristy Richardson the same year. They lived in the same house in Norwalk until his passing.

Mark worked at Norwalk Ready Mix as a driver and dispatcher for 36 years and was passionate about many things in life, first and foremost his family. Mark loved music and was an excellent drummer. He enjoyed coaching the various sports and activities his children played and loved to fish, drive his El Camino's, keep a pristine yard, spend time with his family and adored his grand daughter Reese. Mark was an accomplished Eagle Scout and also a member of the Norwalk Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife Kristy Richardson; three children, Jennifer (Mike) Delpierre, Jeff (Mindi) Richardson and Joe Richardson; grand daughter, Reese Richardson all of Norwalk. His mother, Shirley Richardson; sister, Deb (Frank) Curtis and his brother, Mike Richardson all of Norwalk. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Richardson and his grand parents Worthy and Birdie Billett and Carl and Marie Richardson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Norwalk Christian Church, 701 Main St. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5 at the church.
