Charles Stine

Charles Stine, 79, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center.

Charles was born September 13, 1933, in Des Moines, to Jessie Lee and Mary Stine. He was a self employed scrapper. He loved his torch and his truck. It was hard work, but he and his wife Sherlene did it day by day, together. Charles loved to relax with a fishing rod in one hand and a can of beer in the other.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 26 years, Sherlene Stine, and several other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Charles has generously donated his body to Des Moines University for anatomical and surgical study. The family is not planning any services at this time.
