Faina Staroselsky

Faina Staroselsky, 84, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at Winterset Care Center North. She was born November 20, 1928.

Before moving to the United States, Faina was a Pediatrician in Ukraine.
Upon her retirement from medicine she and her husband enjoyed traveling extensively. She would collect plates from all of her travels. Faina loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Slava (Zoya) Staroselsky; sister, Irina; grandchildren, Alex, Galena, and Vadim; as well as her daughter-in-law, Irina. Faina was preceded in death by her loving husband, Israel; and son, Alexander.

A memorial visitation will be held from, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, IA.
