Robert Noble, 46, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, after a long battle with liver disease.
Robert was born March 31, 1967, in Des Moines, and grew up in Carlisle. He was an inspector for John Deere Des Moines Works and an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family whom he adored.
Robert will be greatly missed by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at 4 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Per his wishes, following visitation Robert’s body will be cremated and taken to his final resting place in Arkansas.

I had not seen Rob for a while but the last time I did it was at a hotel swimming pool playing with Sam and Zoey. He did love his children dearly and I know they will miss him. I was very sad to hear his liver disease had taken such a terrible turn. Nobody should have to suffer so young or have to leave their family too soon! Prayers to his kids for God to be with them in their sadness. God Bless Rob and keep him until he gets to be with his kids again.

"Robbie" and I ran cross country together. I'm very thankful that I got to spend some time catching up with him recently. He talked very fondly of his family! My thoughts & prayers are with all of you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Robs family. Rob and I had some really good times as inspectors for JD, he was always alot of fun to be around.He will be missed.

I have very many fond memories from the time we met, Summer before 3rd Grade, until just recently. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to all of his family, at this time, with my deepest sympathies.
