Betty Lou Calvert, 83, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013.
Betty is survived by her children, Ronald Calvert, Valerie Wiorek, Michelle Patton, Lauralie Corpron, and Terry Calvert; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, also at Hamilton’s.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards Tradesman Credit Union, 1400 2nd Avenue, Des Moines, where a memorial fund is set up for Betty.

My condolences to the Calvert Family. May you take comfort in the wonderful promise found in Gods word the Bible to see an end to 'pain, suffering, sickness and even death.' (Revelation 21:4) This is a sure guarantee, that is soon to be fulfilled, from our Heavenly Father Jehovah and I hope you find this promise very comforting at this difficult time. The Bible also holds out a wonderful promise to be able to see our dear loved ones sleeping in death resurrected back to life right here on a paradise earth (John 5:28,28, Acts 24:15).
