Rex Cornelison

Rex “Pops” Cornelison, 74, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the V.A. Hospital. Per his wishes, he will be cremated and no services are scheduled.
Rex was born in Fordland, MO on March 15, 1933 to General and Agnes Cornelison. Rex never met a stranger. He enjoyed family gatherings, Hawkeye Football, cooking, fishing, playing cards, NASCAR auto racing and gardening. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Rex is survived by brothers, Layman (Laverna), Jack (Caroline) and Jim (Casey) Burks; children, Frances (Larry) Yolanda (Bill) and Raymond (Billie); grandchildren, Anthony, Eric, Trinity, Carlos, Billy, Chris, Jesse and Marisa; and great-grandchildren, Landon, Gabrielle, Crystal and Crispin, Jr. Rex was preceded in death by his parents, General and Agnes; sister, Imogene; and his wife, Angie.
Rex was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
