Service Details
Russell Abbott, Sr., 81, passed away July 14, 2013. Russ was born May 21, 1931in Des Moines and graduated from East High School. He was a self employed painter and served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters and a daughter, Debbie Morgan.
He is survived by his son’s, Michael of Des Moines and Russell of Las Vegas; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

One of my favorite uncles! He knew me as a child, much fun on Warren St. Bangor, Me. Then had the pleasure to work with him in Des Moines painting and paper hanging.
Love that man! Rest in peace Uncle!!
