Service Details
Beverly Streeter, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Beverly was born July 9, 1935, in Appanoose County, Iowa, to Clyde and Elizabeth Sibert. She is survived by her children, Rodney Streeter of Oklahoma, Marta Streeter of Oklahoma, and Vickie Ruggles of Iowa; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one grandson.
Beverly was a resident of the Good Samaritan Society. She retired from Dahl’s Grocery Store and worked at Link Associates. She was a volunteer at Blank Hospital and Hospice in Des Moines. Her passions were NASCAR, knitting and Betty Boop. Beverly loved sewing and many craft activities as well as her pets.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. All friends, family, and loved ones are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Iowa Hospice, Good Samaritan Society, and Link.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
