Melodie A. Bennett

Melodie A. Bennett, 26, was taken home in the arms of an angel on Saturday, July 6, 2013.

Melodie was born July 13, 1986. She will be remembered as a beautiful, stylish woman. She loved getting her hair and nails done and loved shoppihg. Melodie loved kids, especially her own. She had a huge heart and was loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed music and going to Prairie Meadows.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with visitation for an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Left to cherish Melodie’s memory are her children, Alexis, Aleah, Isaiah, and Kaylee, who love and miss her very much; father, Mario Ramirez; mother, Christy Bennett; sister, Brandie Bennett; nieces and nephews, Hailey, Xavier, Joshlynn, and Joshua; grandparents, Rich and Janice Bennett; fiancé and love of her life, Rogers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Melodie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Ruby Ramirez; great-grandfather, Fred Bennett; great-grandmother, Roberta Bennett; aunt, Donna Rhoades; great-uncle, David Bennett; and cousins, Daniel Wright and Pedro Ramirez.
