Kristie Cory-Overton, 53, passed away at her home Saturday, July 6, 2013.
Kristie was born January 18, 1960. She is survived by her husband, Craig Overton; daughters, Katie (Joey) Timmerman, Karaline Overton, and Kristin Overton; grandchildren, Kyli and Peighton Timmerman; parents, Rodger and Mary Ann Cory; siblings, Kim (Jerry) Wells, Kelli (Junior) Cory, and Keri (Adam) Jobe; as well as several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1701 8th Street SW, Altoona, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Kristie.

Kris was a classmate from elementary on thru high school. We all admired her because she was super-athletic and so beautiful and smart too. Those softball days will never be forgotten. My prayers go out to the family.
