James Lyle Main, 66, passed away at Taylor House Hospice on Thursday, July 4, 2013.
James was born on July 8, 1946, in Greenfield, Iowa, to Lyle Vance and Sadie Mae (Beaman) Main. James was employed as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He served his country in the United States Air Force. James enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a gun instructor at the Colfax Gun Club. James was a dog lover, especially his Rottweilers.
James is survived by his wife, Susan L. Main; daughters, Tammy Main, Becky Main, Stephanie Hunter and her husband, Robert, and Heather Smith and her husband, Roger; grandson, Dylan Main and his wife, Chelsey; great-grandchildren, Justin and Wesley Main; brothers, Gary and Roger Main; and sisters, Robin and her husband, Frank, Stephanie, and Valerie.
No services are being held at this time.
