Carolina Rodriguez

Carolina Rodriquez, 91, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, July 16, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Carol was born September 16, 1915 in Arizona, the daughter of Primitivo and Ramona Aguiniga. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and dancing to Mexican music, but above all else, she loved family get-togethers.
Carol is survived by her son, Joe (Virginia) Rodriquez; daughter, Lola McDonald; grandchildren, Mike (Julia) Rodriquez, Steve (Tammy) Rodriquez, Mona Rodriquez and Tim (Shannon) McDonald of Des Moines; 6 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way, and brother, Joe Aguiniga. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mike; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
The family will greet friends from 5-7pm Wednesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 7p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Carol.
