Jerry Groh

Jerry Groh, 73. passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Fleur Heights Care Center.

Jerry was born December 7, 1939, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Marjorie and Carl Groh. He worked for the Oscar Meyer Company for 22 years and for Iowa Lutheran Hospital for 12 years. Jerry loved being with his family. Jerry enjoyed traveling, and he was active in the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed going to Casinos.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Dale of Indianola, and Dean of Des Moines; grandchildren, Matthew, Olivia, Elizabeth, Kayla, Brandon, and Logan; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Neil Olson of Minneapolis, Minn.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Boy Scouts of America or Central Iowa Hospice.
