Service Details
Pam S. Downen, 62, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Genesis Senior Living Center. Her cremated remains will be interred at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa, Iowa. Pam was a life long resident of Des Moines, Iowa.
Pam enjoyed her life. She liked walking everywhere she had went. She loved music, fishing, family gatherings, and made friends very easily of anyone she had met.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Jerry (Mamie) Parker, Larry Downen; Debbie (Herb) Daughenbaugh, Cindi Downen, Gina Coulter, Tammy Downen, and Kim (Dan) Mouzakis; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elnoria and Floyd Downen; brother, Vaughn Downen; and sister, Tonia Downen.
A Celebration of Life will be held, from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the family in loving memory of Pam.
