Harold Hendricks, 74, passed away June 23, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center.
Harold was born February 28, 1939, in Minnesota. He married Jean Hendricks on March 4, 1960. Harold enjoyed fishing and camping, and cherished spending time with his family.
Harold is survived by his children, Brad (Denise) Hendricks, Bryon (Lori) Hendricks, and Betty “Sis” (Mike McClellan) Elliott; grandchildren, Shelby (Dyrek) Head, Drew Hendricks, Maya Hendricks, Darby Elliott, Makaila Hendricks, Libby Elliott, and Melissa McClellan; great-grandchildren, Kendall Pham and Macie and Braxton Head; and his siblings, Elvin, Shirley, Richard, Peter, Elaine, and Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, on January 20, 2012; parents, Peter and Mary Hendricks; brother, Glade; and his granddaughter, Allison Elliott.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2013, at Hope Lutheran Church, 3857 E. 42nd Street. Burial with military honors to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Dearest Brad, Denise, Shelby, Drew, & Family,
You know my heart is with you. I just loved Harold. He was so kind. I can see him at the kitchen table surrounded by his family. Both Harold and Jeannie loved their children and grand children so much. There is no greater gift than a happy family and a happy home.They provided both. They will be missed so much. I know your family will always honor his memory. I hope you find comfort knowing that Jeannie and Harold are together again.

Brad, Denise, Shelby, & Drew - I know this will be a hard time for you . We all loved Jean & Harold. You made them a part of our family and they did the same for us. I love you all. You have such great memories. I hope they will comfort you during this trying time.
