Cathy Jean Thornton

Cathy Jean Thornton, 55, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 20, 2013.

Cathy was born March 28, 1958 in Olewein to Raejean and James Golder. She graduated from North High School in 1976. Cathy was a seamstress for many years at Bob Allen Company and later was a homemaker. Cathy loved being with her family. She also enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows. One of her greatest joys was drinking Aldi’s Root Beer and eating Sweet Puffs cereal.

Cathy is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Mike) Thornton, her sons, Douglas (Zoe) Thornton, Mark (Beth) Thornton and Adam Scott (José); her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Michael, William, Wyatt, Robert, Skylar, David, and the twins; her aunt and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Thornton; brother-in-law, Marty Thornton; and sister, Vicky Reinhart.
