Samuel Shore

Samuel L. Shore, 82, passed away July 15th, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
He was born February 8th, 1925 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was the only child of Samuel and Alta Shore. Mr. Shore was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired Boilermaker with Local 83. Mr. Shore was a proud member of Za-Ga-Zig Shrine and on the Legion of Honor. Sam will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Doris and his parents.
He is survived by five children, Susan Taylor, Cindy Stevens, Sam Shore, Patricia Booher, and Steven Shore along with step-son Leonard Leo. He leaves behind 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He will be missed by all that knew him.
There will be no funeral service, and the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
