Roberto Ramirez

Roberto Ramirez, 82, passed away June 16, 2013. He was born June 7, 1931, in Des Moines.

Representing the last of his generation in the family, Roberto was a lifetime resident of Des Moines. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. After a long career with John Deere, he was involved in various community service organizations.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Delores Gardner. He is survived by eight children, 26 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Roberto will be laid to rest with military honors at 2 p.m., on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel.
