To: The Family of Brother Dennis Lee Davis
From: The Pastor, Officers and Members of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
On behalf of the entire Bethel A.M.E. Church Family, we want to extend our sincerest expression of sympathy to Mrs. Wanda Wilson-Davis, Crysteal Kittrell, Preston Davis and family upon the death of your beloved husband, father-in-law and grandfather Mr. Dennis Lee Davis.
It is in times like these, words can seem inadequate in expressing the depth of sadness we feel. The grief wells up in our hearts, and it can seem as though comfort is just beyond our reach, but Jesus says to us, Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4) The Holy Spirit is your comforter, he is right there with you through this time of bereavement, and in every step of lifes journey. In the difficult days ahead, may Gods peace that surpasses all understanding keep you and yours.
Remember that your loss is shared by the many loved ones and friends who care, and that youre in our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers. May you find the courage and strength you need, in the love and support that surrounds you now. We are confident, that because of the resurrection, there is a blessed assurance, that we will see our loved ones again. It is for this reason we have a resolute hope. In Christ Jesus, death is not the end, but a mere transition.
It is our continued prayer that the love of God embraces you and holds you. Also, we will keep you and yours on our intercessory prayer list.
Grace be with you,
Rev. Dr. Brigitte A. Black, Pastor
