John Boyce

John Albert Boyce, 78, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at University Park Nursing and Rehab.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2013, at Green Bay Cemetery in Humeston, Iowa.

John was born September 17, 1934, in Humeston, Iowa, to Ellen (Thompson) and Homer Boyce. He graduated from Corydon High School and was a runner in his younger years. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He loved attending his children’s sporting events.

He is survived by his sons, Bob (Kelli), Randy (Angela), and Ron Boyce, all of Springfield, MO; sister, Ann Dutts and brother, Tommy Eugene Boyce of Corydon, IA; one granddaughter; and two grandsons.

He is preceded in death by two sisters.
