Margaret Dooly

Margaret E. Dooly, 67, died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation will take place from 6-8pm Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. in Des Moines. According to her wishes, no services are planned, and her body will be cremated.
Margaret was born in Albia, Iowa to George and Anna Stone and attended high school in Des Moines. She was a registered nurse and worked for Mercy Hospital and Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Indianola during her career. She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Robert, Jr. (Lisa) Dooly and their daughters Megan and Jessica of Norwalk, Iowa; son Mark (Sue) Dooly and their son Joseph and daughters Sophia and Isabel of Wayzata, Minnesota; and daughter Michele Dooly of Des Moines; sisters, Ruth Lemon of Burlington and Mary (Bill) Beck of Des Moines; brothers, James (Charlene) Stone of Dallas Center and John (Tanya) Stone of Norwalk; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George R. Stone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Health Sciences for their nursing program.
