Larry Kost

Larry G. Kost, 67 died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday November 20th at Indianola Heights Christian Church.
Larry was born February 26, 1939 in Leon Iowa to Leonard and Frances (Lamphiear) Kost. He lived in Burlington for 25 years before moving to Des Moines where he resided for the past 42 years. Larry worked for John Deere as an inventory controller. He was a member of Indianola Heights Christian Church and Union Local #450.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon of Des Moines; his daughter, Tanya (Jay) Doyscher of Fairmont, MN; his son, Dion Kost of Des Moines; his mother, Frances Kost of Burlington; and his grandchildren; Aaron Campisi, Joseph Schwartz, Blake Campisi and Seth Kost. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Leonard G. Kost and his infant brother, John Edward Kost.
Larry’s family will greet friends Sunday, November 19th from 5-8 P.M. at Hamilton’s Southown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or to his family.
