Deondra Moulds

Deondra Moulds Jones, 34, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center.

Deondra was born in Des Moine,s September 6, 1978. She loved to sing, laugh, and spend time with her family and many friends. Deondra was a social butterfly who brightened everyone’s life that she touched. She was very intelligent and was an honor student.

Deondra is survived by her husband, James Moulds; children, Brieon Barker, Deyonna Jones, Jamara Fitzpatrick, and Ariya Parker; father, Chantay Saunders; step-father, Willie (Denise) Taylor; siblings, Lakesha Taylor, Onterio Taylor, Jeremy Amerison, Jennifer Amerison, Aaron Taylor, Quinten Taylor, Cierra Taylor, and Asia Taylor; Goddaughters, Lanita and Keisena Love; aunts, Alicia Smith and Damita Manning; uncle, Thomas McMurray; great-uncle, Henry Johnson; her grandparents; nieces and nephews; a host of cousins; and many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cassandra Jones Taylor; grandmother, Phyllis Saunders; grandfather, Willie James; great-grandfather, Trenton Johnson; great-grandmother, Jannie Johnson; step-grandfather, Lee Ellison; great-aunt, Josephine Johnson; and her cousin, Latasha Wineland.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
